Students and faculty at Wilbur-McMahon School are celebrating this week since learning of their high performance on the 2011 New England Common Assessment Program (NECAP).
In reading, 91.9 percent of 210 tested students tested proficient, up from 84.4 percent proficient of 218 tested in 2010.
In math, 80.95 percent of 210 tested students tested proficient, up from 79.91 percent proficient of 219 tested in 2010.

Students celebrated on Thursday with an ice cream social and the teachers celebrated Friday with a luncheon.
Here is the proposed FY14 budget for the school. The town financial meeting will take place Tuesday, May 21, 2013 at 7 pm in the school gym.
On August 31st we will be holding our annual Kindergarten Orientation at the Wilbur and MacMahon School. New kindergarten students will be screened at 10am and from 11 to 12:30 there will be an orientation for all students. See you there!
Grades K-8. All registrations will take place at the Wilbur and McMahon Schools on August 16 and 17, 2012 between the hours of 10 am and 2 pm at the school main office. Please ask for Sandra Waite, School Secretary.
