3:00 p.m. Lynn’s Room
v Visual Art/ Writing Update
o Deb Daley and Ann Connolly will be attending the Picture Writing/Image Making Summer Institute in July. Funding will be through the LCSF and the CRP.
v The Champlin Foundation update
o Jeff Soares will be meeting with committee to make recommendations on the science lab redesign after vacation.
v DRA/PALS:
o Preparation will be underway to begin our spring assessments.
v CRP:
o Writing of the CRP will begin soon. The S. I. P. will need to be looked at as a whole to make adjustments etc. Must haves to include on the S. I. P. are: mentoring, E.L.L. and updating the 6-8th grade math.

v Visual Art/ Writing Update
o Lynn will double check with Deb Daley and bring information back to April meeting
v The Champlin Foundation update
o Carolyn will be meeting with the middle school science teachers March 5, 2008.
o Lynn will gather a copy of the School Improvement Plan for them.
v NECAP review and update
o Fran reviewed the observations from the faculty meeting. Teachers looked at the release items. In math it was noticed that geometry was an area to address. With the implementation of Everyday Math this area should show progress. In reading the staff observed that the items requiring short answers were a stumbling block for some students. Focusing on specificity in answering the short answer questions would be beneficial.

v NECAP results were looked at briefly; a more thorough review will take place at the next meeting.
v The team reviewed a flyer on the topic of visual art/writing. The flyer will be distributed to all teachers to determine interest. A report of the number of interested teachers will be given at the next meeting.
v The team reviewed a memo to all principals from The Champlin Foundation

- Minutes were reviewed from last May.
- Record keeper: No record keeper was determined. Lynn will continue to act as facilitator and record keeper for now.
- Notes and questions from the faculty meeting regarding the School Improvement Plan were clarified and answered. They will be reviewed at the next faculty meeting.
